About the author

I am a child of the Most High King.  Though I’m ragged and filthy, and often blind, He has taken me in and made me His own.  My feeble attempts to show my love are as nothing, and I long to know how to know Him.  As a “recovering Pharisee”, His grace continually astounds me and I learn more each day how precious the promise that His mercies are new each morning and great is His faithfulness.  Hallelujah.

I married my beloved, Aaron, in March of 2009 and then I began to live my lifelong dream of being the wife of an amazing man who loves Jesus.  In December 2009, arriving four weeks early, we welcomed our son, Cedar, and I started living the dream of being a mama.  Our daughter, Genoa, was born in April 2011.  God is so good to me.

I spend my days learning how best to love my husband and babies, keeping my little cottage in the mountains, and cooking with lots of garlic and no recipes.  My spare moments find me reading or enjoying conversations with friends.  Comfort foods are dark chocolate, good British tea with a bit of sugar and a spot of milk, and hazelnut lattes (or iced mochas in the hot months).  Other loves include green places and the ocean, traveling, sea mist in my hair and face, dancing in the rain, walking barefoot through dew-wet grass and trying to live in elegant simplicity – with a good bit of crunchiness thrown in.
